Symphony 1 89 x 116 x 1.6 cm

Description

I envisioned a light that sculpts the landscape physically, as in some parts of the world where the particular density of ambient air seems to capture every ray of light. Like notes punctuating the silence, dark touches articulate the blank space and blend into the clarity by smooth transitions while verticality. It is a serene melody with a zen spirit that bathes this landscape reminiscent of Japanese prints. I used very few colors to be as close as possible to the monochrome. Colors are limited to Mars Black, Payne Grey and Natural Shadow Earth.
