Spaces 1 100 x 100 x 1.6 cm

Description

Spaces 1 is the culmination of a minimalist approach to abstract painting. The fields of color essentially come to life through the reliefs of matter that inhabit them and are thus slightly diverted from their static nature. The game between empty and full forms leads to consider surfaces as objects in their own right while producing a tribal character and a zen atmosphere. For the texture effects that I obtained with various tools diverted from their primary function, I used a very thick first layer of industrial white acrylic paint, mixed with acrylic ink. This work embodies simplicity and serenity, where soft shapes float in a warm space. I wanted to create a soothing balance, conducive to inner reflection. Earthy hues bring a soft energy, ready to beautify and calm any surrounding space with harmonious and contemporary presence.
