Description

Wanting to express the representation of the force acting within nature, I painted with more luminous contrast this landscape of appearance more figurative than realistic. One can easily imagine a mountain horizon that contrasts a very clear sky with a very dark relief in a backlit view. As often in this series, there is liquefaction of the earth and condensation of the air, the two elements joining in a blurred space in full formation. I started this painting by painting the sky, the lighter colors allowing easier the recovery of dry areas to allow the addition of fades and overlays to the dark areas running. The colors exclusively used were Titanium White, Mars Black, Payne Grey, Dark Hooker Green.
