Description
I chose abstraction to best express the idea of a presence beyond the representation of nature. For this I agglomerated several dark shapes in a kind of silhouette that stands out on a lighter background. I wanted to keep something organic that could make you think of plant elements. I did the painting entirely with a brush using acrylic only, but with varying techniques and mediums. Structural gel, gesso, liquid acrylic, glaze medium, diluted acrylic are the additional ingredients.
