Alive garden 1 50 x 50 x 3.5 cm

Description

I painted this landscape by fragmenting the space into colored areas, while flat and inscribed in geometric shapes not subject to perspective, which leads to apprehend the subject as abstract. Sky and earth are confused in the same color which reveals in places a structure of urban appearance and buried in a soil of unknown nature. Here nature acts as an intelligent and autonomous garden that organizes itself without human presence. I wanted there to be a feeling of freedom and absolute tranquility, in tune with the soothing forms arranged so as to induce balance. In order to give density and texture to the material, I used a knife to spread and scrape more or less strongly the exclusively opaque colors on the surface of the canvas, without mixing them.
