Description

The size of the support obliges me, I approached this painting with a less rapid technique than usual when it comes to acrylic. I had to work sector by sector, taking care to leave areas cool enough to be taken over where I wanted to create transitions, especially fades. With this change of scale, it is all the gestures that must adapt to keep the style I practice. I applied the paint entirely with a brush using a glossy medium and a glaze medium, without using too much water for dilution. This landscape with the dominant shade of yellow ochre, reflects a geological and atmospheric activity of nature. Once again, I cultivated the ambiguity about the nature of the soil, both land and lake, which could evoke the fjords of Norway.
